Samuli Sistonen, Founder & Managing Director

Samuli has over 20 years diverse and international experience from leading businesses and people, developing HR management, and consulting in performance management and rewards. Prior to founding Reward Agency, Samuli worked as the Managing Director of Mercer Finland and before then he was the Country Manager at Hay Group. He has also worked as a consultant at Deloitte and PwC. At Tapiola Group Samuli was responsible for recruitments, personnel planning and rewards at the beginning of this millennium.

Over the years Samuli has supported hundreds of companies to develop HR, leadership, performance management and rewards. The clients come from different industries and vary from global listed companies to medium and small sized growth companies in Finland and abroad. The counterparts at client side are typically company owners, boards, executive management and HR professionals.

Samuli has written two books about performance management and rewards. Paranna tuloksia ja palkitse (Improve results and reward) was published by Talentum in 2008. During 2010-2011 Samuli acted as the Chairman of the Board and Executive Remuneration working group of Boardman – a Finnish Board professionals’ organization. As a result of the unique group’s cooperation the book Johdon palkitseminen (Executive rewards) was published in autumn 2011.

Samuli holds a Master’s Degree from Helsinki University majoring in economics with minors in mathematics and statistics. Samuli also holds a Master’s Degree from Helsinki School of Economics majoring in organisation and leadership with minor in accounting.

Ville Kämppi, Partner

Ville Kämppi joined Reward Agency team in the spring of 2017. Ville is a partner and participates in client projects from Alberta, Canada, where he lives with his family.

Ville has over ten years of international experience in consulting, business development and diplomacy. Ville has lived and worked abroad for several years and brings with him customer focused consulting knowledge for example from Mercer, Stanton Chase and Finpro. During his career in the diplomatic service Ville served at the Finnish representations in Brussels and Shanghai prior to returning to consulting.

Ville received his education in Finland, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong majoring in economics with minors in statistics and econometrics. Through his international education and connections developing Reward Agency’s business and consulting abroad is a natural extension to his career.
